Introduction

This award is open to individuals who can demonstrate excellence through further and enhanced understanding of engineering excellence in building controls and BEMS. Entries should demonstrate how an individual has applied technical knowledge combined with sustainability solutions to meet and resolve engineering challenges. The recipient will show a commitment to their duties and responsibilities as well as to the wider controls industry and will be able to demonstrate how they have shared their industry experience to support others.

Criteria for entry:

• Open to individuals working for building controls installers, manufacturers, consulting engineers or FM companies.

• Must be able to demonstrate activities and impact within the 12 month period preceding the entry deadline.

Entries closed on 22nd January 2026. Finalists will be announced in March.
