Introduction

Awarded to a manufacturer, installer or team in recognition of a project which demonstrates how energy innovation has been achieved through the application of solutions including building controls and/or BEMS, and the impact achieved. This award is also open to individuals with a responsibility for energy management in a client or consultancy role. The entry must detail the specific aims of the project, the solution applied, the benefits and impact realised from the solution and how the impact has been verified.

Criteria for entry: 

The project must have been completed within the 12 month period preceding the entry deadline and measurable impacts available. 

The judges will be looking for evidence of:  

• Client objectives and how they were met.  

• How the building controls/BEMS was designed and installed to achieve energy innovation.  

• Evidenced and verified benefits and impact. 

• Details of how the impact has been verified. 

• Supporting testimonial from a client. 

Entries closed on 22nd January 2026. Finalists will be announced in March.
