Rosters for NA Prep Elite National Team / Euro Tournament Tour To Be Selected; NA Prep Elite National Team, Pre-Camp May 27-29.

WHITEFISH, Montana. - North American Prep will announce (1/5/2023) the 60 athletes who have been invited to the 2023 NA Prep Euro Tour, which will take place in September 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The 2023 Elite National Team will be named at the conclusion of camp. The Elite National Team will compete in a 12-tour, including two tournaments in Stockholm, Sweden September 2023.

“This is an amazing opportunity for players across all levels and regions to come together for this year’s Elite National Team Euro Tour,” said Coach JJ James, director of the North American Preparatory Hockey Academy.

The NA Prep Elite National Team will host its pre-camp immediately following the conclusion of the NA Prep spring season from May 27-29 before traveling to Sweden.

NOTES: The final rosters for the NA Prep Elite National Team are expected to be announced Sunday, May. 30, 2023 … NA Prep will be taking two teams on their Euro Tour, Pee Wee, and Bantam ages. JJ James (Whitefish, Montana.) will serve as the head coach of both the 2023 NA Prep Elite National Teams. Phil Richards (Missoula, Montana.), assistant U13 ice hockey coach at North American Preparatory Hockey Academy, Justin Randall (Kalispell, Montana), assistant U13 ice hockey coach at North American Preparatory Hockey Academy. Additional coaches will be added prior to or during the ID/Evaluation process.

NA Prep has a lot to offer players that are looking for a development experience like no other. As the game has evolved, we have worked diligently to stay ahead of the development curve, allowing us the ability to provide the optimal environment for our hockey players to grow. Through our continuous research and discussions with NHL, AHL, and NCAA coaches, we are confident that we have a suite of programs that can help players improve during our spring/summer development program.

Both the skating and skill portions of our program will be progress based which are in tune with the current and changing trends in today’s game. We will expose players and provide a foundational plan which we can effectively build upon during our on/off-ice training sessions and the live competition of tournament games provides us a realistic viewpoint as to how each player’s training is helping them execute. This is important because there is a major difference between something executed in practice and something executed under the stress of game competition.
